Periodic Table Group Project
Google Slides can be a collaborative space where students can work together. Assigning students or groups to different slides can be an interesting way for students to see one another's work. Writing Nonfiction Picture Books About Diseases
This project details an assignment wherein students will produce hard cover illustrated informational books about diseases comprised of text, photographs/illustrations and other appropriate text features. This project is an excellent culminating activity for a literacy unit on informational text or a science unit on diseases. It also makes an excellent activity for students to complete over an extended break.
