I created this rubric when trying to teach my eighth grade class typing. The program I was using graded their speed and accuracy, but I needed something to help me keep account of their form. Since it is a semester class, I use 30 words a minute for the top goal the first nine weeks I have them, and 40 words a minute the second nine weeks I have them.
