Sweetheart Serenade for Valentine's Day Music Fundraiser Information Sheet
We raised so much money for our high school music scholarship program by simply singing a few "love" songs to other students during the lunch periods at our school. Students pay a small fee for a vocal ensemble to sing to someone special on Valentine's Day. This worked like a charm and I know that it will be a HUGE success at your school too!

Level of Greatness Concert Preparation Chart
I print out this chart for each class and will then color in the boxes and the class completes each level of the preparation for each piece. I have found it helps the class stay focused throughout the process. It will create a positive competition between the ensembles which increases productivity. The chart also gives a great visual to the fact that their is much to prepare in addition to notes and rhythms.

Music National Standards Notes
These notes have all 9 of the National Standards for Music Education written on them. Choir Hand Signals & Posture Handout
I find hand signals to be incredibly helpful during rehearsal. I can visually recognize what the child needs and determine if I need to stop rehearsal immediately or if I can wait until a better stopping point to address them. I also use position numbers to convey how students should be seating/standing for the next rehearsal activity.
