Argument Writing Vocabulary List
This list can be used to teach vocabulary at the beginning of, or alongside, an argument writing unit. It includes 24 words that are frequently used when teaching argument writing, along with the definitions. The words can be used in a Frayer Model, for flashcards, review, etc... Put together a cute pencil clip chart and use clothespins with student's names on them to keep track of where they are in the writing process. I included colored printouts, as well as black and white, so you can print the words on yellow card stock paper. After printing, glue or tape the papers together to whatever size you like, and laminate it to keep it all year round.
