I first used this project with gifted eighth graders. They loved it. Not only did they enjoy the discussion but they loved doing art work in English class. Recently I did these activities in my heterogeneous ninth grade classes. They, too, enjoyed it. They loved sharing what talent or skill they have and they loved drawing what handicaps the Handicap General would give them if they lived in Harrison's world.
