TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I'm a proud public school teacher who has taught History for the past twenty years. I teach 8th grade Social Studies and AP US History. I also previously taught grade 7 and bunches of summer school classes. I'm also a reader for the AP US History Exam. Visit my website at peacefieldhistory.com for more discussion about the teaching of history.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Everything in my class involves critical thinking - every activity, every assignment, every assessment. Therefore, every product I offer on TpT follows that same basic principle. My end goal is to get my students to think! I love developing curriculum and think about new and innovative ways to help my students to learn. I absolutely love writing curriculum for TpT. I'm passionate about creating resources that encourage the development of young historical minds. I love historical research, graphic design, and creating resources that I know can be utilized by teachers across the world! All the products I post have been tested with real students.
