What educators are saying

Love Peacefield History and was thrilled she made a curriculum. Her lessons are always age appropriate and engaging.
This curriculum bundle is fantastic! I used it with my students throughout the year and they were very engaged by it! The Journey through the Civil War was one of the highlights of the school year for my class. Thank you!

    Description

This is a full year bundle for the first half of U.S History - from Exploration through Reconstruction. This bundle is a product of 19 years of teaching experience. I've been teaching these subjects throughout that time, and the products listed here represent my expertise as a classroom teacher. This is a stand-alone product. (They are a few videos that you might like to purchase or stream to students, however, the total cost of those videos is less than ten dollars.)

My curriculum is focused on building critical thinking. I want my students to think about history, not just memorize history. Therefore, my activities are not just student-centered, I also strive to make sure that my students are thinking every day, and my products reflect that focus. I want to make sure that students come out of my classroom with a deep and rich understanding of what history is all about, and why it's so necessary. I purposely include a wide variety of activities to keep students interested and motivated.

I also include links to a Google Version in every lesson plan. Almost all of these lessons include a classroom version and a digital version for possible remote teaching or hybrid.

Although this bundle is listed here, I'm never finished writing. I will always add new resources to offer you options.

Through the purchase of this bundle, you will also get my help! If you have any questions about any of the assignments or activities, you can feel free to e-mail me and ask. I've taught all of these lessons, and I've seen how they work with my own students.
