Introduction to Robotics: Robots App Scavenger Hunt
I used this in my classroom during my 5th grade Robotics unit. This was used as an introduction to robots and a way for students to get some background research by using the Robots App. I had students make a K-W-L chart on the Popplet app first, and do the 'K'and 'W' parts in partners on one of their iPads. This is a set of lessons in which students work independently or in a small group to build a robotic arm. The individual lesson requires students to work independently to build a robotic arm for a friend with a Styrofoam allergy by taking the user's feelings and recommendations to build the arm.
