Genetics Lab: Monsters and Their Offspring
Genetics Lab and Art Activity for 9th-12th grades. Students generate the genotypes of 15 characteristics of a female and male monster. Then they determine the phenotypes, taking into account incomplete dominance, codominance and sex-linked traits. Students complete punnet squares and dihybrid crosses to predict the genotypes and phenotypic expression of four offspring. Photoshop CS6 Tutorial - Creating a Cool Text Graphic Image using Clipping Masks
In this popular, beginner level activity students will create a visually appealing text graphic image based on a theme (music, nature, movies, sports...etc) of their choice! This is a fun, classroom tested activity that students can adapt to their own tastes easily. This project was created in Photoshop CS6 but could be applied to other versions of the tool.
