TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught for three years at the community college level and nine years as a high school teacher in the following disciplines: anatomy & physiology, environmental sciences, biotechnology, engineering, and microbiology. Now I provide professional development in integrative STEM education for teachers and administrators who are interested in creating transdisciplinary school experiences for students.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love design-based pedagogical approaches that increases attitudes, content knowledge, and skills in STEAM areas. I appreciate integrative opportunities in particular because they open the opportunities for real-world learning experiences.
