Middle School Lab Report Template
This template is so easy to use! It has been super helpful in scaffolding for my middle school students to get them to the stage of writing a full lab report in high school.
I used to NEVER grade lab reports! They were always handed in on messy paper (or not at all!) and I always had to look from the rubric to the report, it was crazy! So I just gave up.
Then...I made this template. It is so easy to use. I just grade each section of the lab report with the rubrics for each component!

Geology Booklet Project
When I get to the geology unit with my eighth graders, I assign this booklet project as a way to connect the concepts we discuss to an area they are familiar with. Since my students have chrome books and we are a Google school, I have them download a template and create this booklet in Google Slides.
