Sorting Rocks for Chinese Immersion
On this graphic organizer, students will sort rocks as igneous, sedimentary, or metamorphic.
After teaching my students about the three types of rocks, I use this sorting assessment to reinforce key concepts and check understanding. I simply print out a copy of the first page for each student and have them cut and place the rocks in the appropriate section. (No glue yet!) After sorting, students share their graphic organizer with a partner and justify their own answers based on their knowledge
