I searched high and low for a basic, close reading test that would simply show me whether students did their outside-of-class reading of FAHRENHEIT 451, and I found that none existed that met my needs (detailed + easy to grade). I was not striving for higher order thinking...just a basic, Accelerated-Reader-type quiz that would demonstrate completion of the assigned reading.
