By A Novel Idea As of 2016, I have 22 years in public education. I spent 20 years in a secondary English classroom. I transitioned out of the classroom in 2014-2015 to the position of Instructional Specialist, and in the 2015-2016 school year, I moved to the position of Curriculum Coordinator for my school district. I am currently the coordinator over K-12 Science, Secondary ELA, At-Risk, and Foreign Language. I love my new role of serving teachers, and I absolutely believe that teaching is one of the toughest jobs in the universe!
When I was in the classroom, my teaching style was a large dose of love combined with high standards and expectations for my students.
