In this mini unit, students in Grades 4-5 follow the 5-E Format to investigate the stinky lives of Vultures through Listening Comprehension, Vulture Facts, Comparing and Contrasting Black Vultures and Turkey Vultures, Testing pH of a Vulture’s Stomach and Other Household Liquids, Observation and Field Identification, Adaptations Form and Function, and optional Independent Research.
