I love the Spanish language and I love teaching it but I am a bit old-fashioned when it comes to grammar practice. I don't like the feeling I get when my students are struggling to understand what I'm teaching them or when they are not getting the inductive (often very subtle) grammar instruction provided in today's trendy textbooks. So I create direct grammar activities that explain exactly what is going on for my left-brain learners, special needs learners, and those that just want a little extra practice. Then I tie it all together at the end in a cultural context. When all that is done we can get on with speaking the beautiful Spanish language.

I love my students and I love what I do. Good materials are hard to find sometimes, so I started to make my own. Then I can use them from year to year, modifying them when necessary. These are the materials I choose to share here. I hope you will find that they meet your classroom needs. Visit my blog: http://confesionesyrealidades.blogspot.com/
