For all the years I have been teaching AP Literature, I've used the same syllabus with minor tweaks. I was able to do that easily because I had taught those students as freshmen and, sometimes, as sophomores. This meant they were already given the basic tools I needed them to have before they joined AP Literature. My average pass rate, as a result, is 75% (that is 75% of my students pass the exam with a 3 or higher), with the 2018-2019 class tying for the highest rate of 80%.School year 2019-202
