This is an outline I created for my students to use when writing their essays. It aligns with the FSA writing rubric.
There is an outline for informative and an outline for opinion.
My students put this in their writing binder as a resource and refer to it when writing, revising, and peer editing.

POW TIDE Essay Outline Writing Paragraphs
Using POW TIDE, students will be able to answer simple questions on this outline that will allow them to transfer their answers to paper as an essay with an introduction, conclusion, and body paragraphs. Great for Opinion/Informational Essays which will be assessed on TNReady Part 1 this year.

Tuck Everlasting Character Change and Development Essay Writing Assignment
Editable! This essay assignment asks students to write an essay informing the reader as to how Winnie changed from the beginning (before being kidnapped), middle (while she was with the Tucks), and end of the story (after she returned home). It has an outline with bullet points for what students need to include in each paragraph, as well as excerpts (2 for the beginning, 2 for the middle, and 2 for the end) for the students to choose from and include text evidence in their essay.
