Colon Usage Worksheet
On this two-sided worksheet, students will practice using a complete sentence followed by a colon to introduce a list, an announcement, an amplified statement, or a quotation. The worksheet has four exercises (for a total of 15 questions). A key is not included as most answers will vary from student to student.
This assignment would work well as formative assessment (prior to a quiz), as independent homework, or as in-class partner work.
