This is a poem I wrote to help my students recall all of the reading skills we learn throughout the year. As we practice standardized tests, the students label each question based on the skill they must use to find the answer. The students refer to this poem to help them. The skills mentioned in the poem include: inference, main idea, using resources, facts/details, compare/contrast, genre, sequence, context clues, figurative language, cause/effect, real/make-believe, predictions, author's p
