There are four prefixes and six suffixes that are focused on for the lesson. First, students complete a graph identifying and defining each of the prefixes and suffixes. There are examples of words that

All of the colors in English and the Romance Languages- Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, French, Romanian- which all stem from Latin. Great for introducing Latin roots. This is especially fun with multilingual students who can share other cognates from their native language. Put these up around the room to foster language connections and cultural appreciation!
