Two Nuts Teachin' from the Same Tree

Amy has been teaching for 12 years. She began her career teaching in a 3rd-5th grade classroom of students with emotional impairments. Although she loved her experiences with her students, she wanted to pursue her love for curriculum by expanding her experiences to the general education setting. She is now in her fifth year as a fourth grade teacher and is loving every minute of it. Last year was the best year Amy had professionally because Mollie joined the fourth grade team. Mollie is a fourth year teacher and spent the previous two years in a fifth grade classroom just down the hall. Mollie is driven to provide higher level thinking activities for her students that allow them to apply the information she has presented to them over the course of a unit. Both Amy and Mollie have a passion for creating and developing solid units of study that give students an opportunity to apply their knowledge and think deeply about their learning. Opening a TPT store and sharing their work with others has been a dream for some time now and they are so excited to become a part of such an amazing community!
