By The Modern Latinist I studied Latin starting in third grade and was fortunate to continue through high school with an exceptional tutor. After putting it aside for a couple years to pursue my degree in Economics at UCLA, I found myself back in Latin classes my senior year because I missed the language so much. While I have a degree in Economics from UCLA, I never gave up my passion for the Latin language. I taught Latin for 11 years to a wide age range of students, my youngest students being just 5 years old and loving Latin best of all!
I believe in making Latin come alive for students. I always incorporate games and crafts and story telling into my lessons.
