Hands on! I love to use creative, cute resources to help keep my students attention. One of my favorite things to see is that light bulb shine brighter in a child's mind when they have finally "got it." I am a big fan of positive reinforcement in the classroom and using redirection as a form of structure.

I am a conference speaker for preschool childcare conferences. I enjoy sharing with other teachers the things I have found to be fun in classroom over the years. I have served on the Alabama Kindergarten Committee for 4 years and love it! I am a member of the National Kindergarten Alliance. In addition to teaching I also have continued education certifications and training in early childhood intervention. I enjoy teaching K4 the most because I feel it is a great opportunity to prepare a child for Kindergarten. I also have had the privilege and honor to teach preschool and daycare centers DHR training for the teachers and staff with fun, hands on sessions. My products are made for preschool and Kindergarten classroom to provide fun, creative ways to help with classroom management, reinforcements, learning new subjects and assessments. Many of my products are created based on the state of Alabama standards as well as national standards.
