I have been a school psychologist, special education director, special needs camp director, and curriculum developer for SEL and counseling materials.
I'm a SEL advocate, passionate about helping educators in their efforts to help students succeed academically and personally. Whether in my role as a school psychologist or currently as a curriculum writer, I have always found myself drawn to program development and mentorship. Through my current work, I am able to focus on supporting school counselors and teachers as they incorporate SEL into their daily practice. I know firsthand the challenges and complexities of this work, and I am committed to helping educators feel prepared and confident in their ability to support their students.
I grew up in Northern New Jersey attending public schools. I got my B.S. degree in psychology from the University of Maryland and then went to graduate school at Tufts University. I received my Masters in 2007.
