TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been blessed to be a homeschooling mom for the past eighteen years. I can't say my education trained me for my current job (I received by BA in Anthropology and MAURP in Urban & Regional Planning), but it did give me a love for learning!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I have enjoying using Sonlight's curriculum (the way you wish you'd been taught, guaranteed :) and have taught their Cores A-400. The literature is amazing! We have read so many awesome books--I often wonder how I missed them as a child. As our family has grown (we have eight children), I have had to adapt our school time to work--both for me and the kids. I began incorporating the workbox system to our school routine in 2011. Next came the need to fill the workboxes! All of the printables that are in my store have been used by my children and are purposed to help your children work on necessary skills with minimal instruction.
