TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I taught Italian for 32 years in the NYS public school system. My concentration was in the high school classroom, however I have had experience with younger levels. I have taught AP, IB (SL and HL 1&2), Adelphi and Syracuse Univ extension program classes in addition to teaching regular and advanced classes without university designations.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Student centered! Fun fun and low-pressure lessons. Young people would readily come along for the ride when I provided a light-hearted and lively classroom setting. "Trick them" into learning and your job is 10x easier. :)
