As a devoted Special Education Teacher with over a decade of experience, I've had the privilege of working with students across various grade levels, from Kindergarten to high school. Throughout my journey, I've found immense joy in tailoring instruction and curriculum to meet the diverse needs of my students. It is my firm belief that every student is capable of learning and achieving success when provided with the appropriate support and accommodations. Thus, I take great satisfaction in making adaptations and modifications to lessons, ensuring that each student can engage with the material and master essential skills across a range of content areas.
In my classroom, I strive to foster a warm and inviting atmosphere where students feel valued and supported in their academic journey. My aim is to create an engaging learning environment where every student understands the relevance and importance of their studies. Above all, I prioritize the cultivation of a safe space where students feel comfortable taking risks and embracing challenges, knowing that failure is merely a stepping stone to success. I wholeheartedly encourage my students to explore their interests and passions, guiding them with patience and enthusiasm as they discover different learning approaches tailored to their individual needs. I am mindful of the diverse learning styles present among my students, ensuring that my instructional methods cater to kinesthetic, auditory, and visual learners alike, thereby maximizing their potential for academic growth and success.

After completing my undergraduate studies in Marketing at the University of Illinois at Chicago, I followed my passion and pursued further education in Elementary and Special Education at DePaul University. This decision was driven by my heartfelt desire to make a meaningful impact in the field of education and support the diverse needs of students. Armed with a strong foundation in both marketing principles and pedagogical techniques, I am equipped with a unique skill set to engage and inspire students in my classroom.
I am a proud mother of a daughter who also shares my enthusiasm for learning and dreams of becoming a kindergarten teacher. I enjoy teaching students. It's my job to inspire and motivate students to love to learn. I decided to specialize in teaching students with special needs knowing that they are the students who need the most support in preparing them to be independent individuals in our society. If you love what you do, it is not really working. It's just enjoying life.
