TEACHING EXPERIENCE

12 years in English!

MY TEACHING STYLE

My teaching style in the English classroom is strongly based on instilling real-world reading and writing skills in my students. Not everyone loves reading fiction or poetry, and not everyone loves writing expository essays - and that's okay! Regardless of student interest in my subject, all of my students will leave my classroom with skills that will help them in any aspect of life. I also strive to help my students discover more about themselves and the world around them through relevant activities and discussions that challenge them to think critically.
