Miss Merry Berry

I have taught pre-k to grade 9 for over 14 years in a variety of settings from homeschool, public, private and in Christian & Catholic schools.

I am a big advocate of learning through play and believe that children learn best and soar in life when they are given the opportunity to spread their wings and fly in a safe environment. I believe that children should be set up for success but challenged in a way that brings meaning to their lives. Students should be able to personally apply what they are taught to become advocates of their own success and learning.

My own education comes in a variety of educational settings. I have attended public school, have been home schooled, and also attended a charter/private school. This has allowed me to be able to understand learning and teaching in a variety of settings and advocate more for the student and their individual learning rather than one methodology that may not suit all learners.
