After teaching for six years in Japan, I came back to Canada and taught both grades 4/5 and middle school in Toronto, mostly in French immersion classrooms.
Because of my own formative years traveling and experiencing things for myself, I have tried to make classroom learning as experiential as possible. I have taken my classes on about a field trip a month, including two eighth-grade trips to Paris. Whether learning math or French, I believe we learn by doing.

I have a BScH from Queen's University and a Master of Teaching degree (in Math) from OISE. While in Japan, I got my TEFL certification and passed the second level of the National Japanese Examination.
I love travel, baking, zumba, scuba diving and spending time with my three kids.
