This is my 14th year teaching and I am currently teaching fourth grade. I have previously taught third grade and was a reading and math interventionist for grades 1-4.
I try my best to connect different subject areas and find connections that happen naturally within my curriculum. I love when a science theme can be used to study a new ELA concept or when it can be incorporated into math. I believe that these connections help facilitate learning and give additional practice throughout the day. I love when students are challenged and have to use higher level thinking skills. I look for fun ways to keep my students engaged and keep them thinking!

I have my Bachelor of the Arts Degree in Elementary Education and my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I love teaching and learning as they go hand in hand.
