TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Kristen has been an educator for over 20 years. Her classroom experience was in 1st and 2nd grades before she became a Reading Specialist. She is also the owner/author behind Little Reading Room and Busy Kids Happy Mom. She loves to share her passion for learning and teaching with others!

MY TEACHING STYLE

Kristen enjoys designing activities that encourage and challenge children in their learning. She enjoys creating reading resources for students and teachers. She has the mind of a teacher and creates useful materials for the classroom. Kristen stumbled upon Directed Drawings when another teacher taught her how to do one and she was hooked! Now, she loves designing Directed Drawing activities for children of all ages. Simple lines, shapes, and letters can create fabulous creations. Anyone can be an artist. Kristen also taps into her background as an Elementary Reading Specialist to create other resources for teachers and students.
