My 20 years of education includes teaching middle grades to working with college students - many in the education field. I am currently a 4th grade ELA/Social Studies teacher and serve as the service-learning coordinator for a charter school.
My style is hands-on where students learn through their experiences. Through the Kindness Clubhouse I emphasize that students can transform their homes, schools, and communities when they Radiate Outrageous Compassion & Kindness. I help students find what matters to them, what they are good at and what makes them unique. Differentiation of lesson plans are based on those answers.

Speaker, Writer, Educator When my high school counselor asked me what I wanted to do after graduation my only reply was, “make a difference.” That began a journey of self-discovery through A LOT of trial and error until certain lessons were learned. I now get to travel around the country to have conversations with educators (and their students) about their own goals to make an impact and how to do it in a way that fits their own talents, skills, and interests.
