Driven by my passion for inclusive education and supporting students with special needs, I pursued a Master's degree in Special Education, focusing on grades 1-6. This program provided me with an in-depth understanding of the unique challenges faced by students with disabilities, including those on the Autism Spectrum. Throughout my graduate studies, I engaged in extensive coursework that delved into the foundations of special education, assessment and evaluation techniques, individualized educational planning, and evidence-based instructional strategies. I also gained practical experience through student teaching placements in inclusive classrooms, where I honed my skills in differentiating instruction, implementing behavior management techniques, and collaborating with families and support professionals. To further enrich my knowledge and professional development, I attended workshops, conferences, and participated in ongoing training opportunities related to special education and Autism Spectrum Disorder. I believe that continuous learning is essential in order to stay up to date with the latest research, best practices, and innovative approaches to supporting students with disabilities. Armed with my academic background and practical experience, I am dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of students with disabilities, ensuring that they receive the education they deserve and have the opportunity to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
