By Instruction That Works I've taught 3 years in third grade, 1 year in fourth grade, 2 years in fifth grade. Now I am in my 1st year as a Reading Interventionist for K-3!
I believe in four main things: a positive, routine-oriented classroom community; student centered, engaging lessons, on-going assessment to inform instruction, and building relationships with students!
Being “promoted” to Reading Interventionist for K-3 was a major honor. I love my new job!
I attended Michigan State University from 2007-2011. My major was Elementary Education and my minor was Language Arts. I recently finished my Masters in Educational Administration from Texas A & M University.
I love health and fitness! I’m all about eating right and running on a regular basis.
