MY TEACHING STYLE

I have a strong passion to inspire and educate young minds and help them blossom in to well-rounded, responsible, confident and successful individuals. Having the ability to see the world through children’s eyes, I believe that a classroom should be engaging, fun and full of life, a place where students can challenge their current knowledge to operate at higher, creative levels. The focus of a classroom should be to have students analyse, evaluate, and create their own products and solutions, not simply memorise facts and statistics. I continually strive to think outside the box, outside the classroom, and outside the norm. I leap outside of the classroom walls and take my students with me. As much as possible, I try to make classroom experiences exciting and memorable for the students. I seek ways to give my students a real world application for knowledge, taking learning to the next action-packed level. Think tactile, unexpected, movement-oriented, and a little bit crazy...
