Howywood Kindergarten

Welcome to HOWYWOOD... (my last name is Howard)! :) I’m so glad you’re here! I know how busy life can get for us, teacher friends! I’m a full-time teacher, wife, & mama to 3 awesome kids who play a lot of sports... basically, it feels like we’re always on the run… Maybe you can relate?  I understand what a commitment it is to take care of yourself, be an awesome teacher, AND wear all the other important "hats" you wear (spouse, parent, friend, caregiver... you name it… we all have our stuff, right?!).    My goals are to help you STOP re-inventing the wheel, win back precious time, and find simple, memorable ways to create a bright, beautiful classroom that you & your students will LOVE. I'm happy to tell you this: everything I create is something I've whipped up to use in my personal classroom.  All my resources are truly “real classroom tested & kindergartner approved”  ...which means I’m confident they're valuable, they're practical, and they WORK!  I have my Master's Degree in Elementary Education and I've been teaching 1st grade & Kindergarten since 2001 (and I love it!). One of my favorite things to do is create & share REAL, time-saving ideas with other teachers in hopes of helping make their lives easier & classrooms brighter ...  so seriously, I'm glad you're here.   There's NO WAY I want to keep 20 years of learning, creating, and tried-and-true ideas all to myself. A little more about me... I grew up as the oldest of 4 sisters who all look so much alike that we're hard to tell apart (and 3 of us create products on TPT!). I met my husband when we were 15... and we've been blessed with 3 awesome kids who entertain us and keep us busy.
