Star of the Week is an awesome, zero-prep routine to help build your classroom community, get to know each other, and help all the stars in your classroom feel special!
This resource includes:
⭐ 2 poster options (with your choice of big or little background stars)... send it home for students to complete and return when their week arrives OR have them complete it at school.
⭐ A note to send to families (totally editable in Google Slides!) to explain all the events of the week. I do all super simple, quick, fun things like one of these each day: share the poster they filled out, read their favorite story, have them share family pics (emailed or sent in), have them share a special talent (performed in front of us or sent on video)... but you can edit it to say whatever sounds good for your class.
⭐ An editable "poster" for all the classmates to autograph and thank the star for being such a great friend. I send this home Friday along with their poster and anything else they sent in. It's SO FUN and SO SIMPLE!
