Master of Arts in Social Science Education from the University of Central Florida; Bachelor of Arts from the University of South Carolina Honors College
I have designed lessons that have been published by such prestigious organizations as the National Park Service (NPS) and the Florida Humanities Council (FHC). I also served as a social studies representative on my school’s interdisciplinary curriculum development committee, through which I worked with teachers from multiple disciplines to create a set of interdisciplinary lesson plans that align with the Common Core State Standards. I really enjoy preparing and presenting workshops for fellow educators. I have presented such workshops as "Social Studies and English: Allies for a Common Goal," "Empower Your Students Discussion and Debate," and "James Madison and George Washington."
