At this point, I feel like the question should be, "What haven't I taught?" I started my career in Pre-K and now find myself with the "big kids" in 8th grade. Between point A & point B, I've taught 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 7th, and Special Education. With more than a decade of experience in Middle and Junior High, I've absolutely found my niche with 8th grade, but the in betweens made me the educator I am today.
I'm firm believer in structure on top of structure...with garnishing of more structure. This allows me to introduce rich literature with an exciting approach which entices even the most insecure students. That glow of achievement on their faces is my driving force and I design these products with that in mind. I know my content standards like the back of my hand, but also focus on making learning an innovative and fresh experience. I do this with every lesson I present and my products are a testament to that objective. If my kids, colleagues, and administrators/evaluators, didn't love it, I didn't bother to upload it to my store.
