I am a pianist, vocalist, chorister, former Chinese teacher in Springville UT, and a Cantonese teacher in the Missionary Training Center. I graduated in Linguistic with TESOL and Music minors. My husband & I moved our kids to live in Hong Kong for 7 years, and now we are in the U.S. We unschool my 5 children both English, Cantonese, and Mandarin Chinese.
I enjoyed the different learning and teaching style in the U.S. while I also respect the Chinese study style. I guess my strength is to use both teaching style and learning methods according to my students' needs. Moreover, I think hands-on activities and learning materials are vital for increasing children's desire to learn.
If you have any questions or want to know more about homeschooling, learning Chinese, or get to know my products more. Feel free to go to my blog ~ Fortune Cookie Mom.
