TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I've been teaching for over 12 years here in New York State, starting in middle school, and now at the high school level. Two different schools, two different classrooms, teacher, and department chair, I've enjoyed every role I've filled! I love interacting with and learning from students not only in the classroom, but also through drama club and our high school competitive reading club! Students make my job worthwhile :)

MY TEACHING STYLE

I try and incorporate technology wherever I can, and like to give students choices in how they show their learning. I also think it's important to give students the "big picture" at the beginning of any unit or project so they can see where they're going, what the finished product will eventually be, and why it all matters!
