TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am a 24-year public school teacher living in Bakersfield, CA. I teach 7th grade life science and elective classes on computer programming and mythology. I taught high school for six years and have taught middle school for the past 18 years. I have presented science and programming workshops at various conventions, including CSIT (Computer Science and Information Technology), TechED (Technology in Education), KernCUE and CUE (Computer Using Educators), CSTA (California Science Teachers Association), and GCSN (Gold Coast Science Network). I am also the Technology Mentor for Norris Middle School (serving about 30 teachers and 1000 7th and 8th graders).
