Teaching reading is my passion! I began my career teaching second and third grades (teaching in both public and private schools) and have over 10 years of classroom experience. I have an M. Ed as a Reading Specialist, and I'm a certified Orton-Gillingham instructor and an IDA certified Dyslexia Practitioner. I currently teach Structured Literacy at the collegiate level and run a successful tutoring business that has served hundreds students in grades K-12. Our students receive additional one-on-one support to retrain the brain to process language more easily. The proven, effective resources at Carolina Orton-Gillingham are the product of my unique background, skills, and expertise and have been used by thousands of teachers and tutors across the world.
