I am a third grade bilingual teacher, currently in my third year of teaching! I teach two groups of students: a bilingual group and a group of Spanish-speaking New Arrival students (less than one year in the country).

MY TEACHING STYLE

I apply brain-based teaching methods and research-based strategies in my classroom-- WBT, Marzano, DOK, growth tracking, etc. I seek meaningful learning opportunities for my students-- via project based learning, small group teaching, read-alouds, and journaling. I love to integrate culturally-relevant literature and arts in my classroom!
