I am a second year teacher in Maryland and have taught in 10th and 11th grade English and Academic Writing. I am also the head varsity volleyball coach and have also coached gymnastics and cheer-leading in the past. I love incorporating Arts Integration into my lesson and bringing multi-modal and hands-on projects back to English.

In my classroom you will see an environment that is moderated by both teachers and students. I like to foster a sense of community by doing team-based group activities early on in the school year. I like to develop students emotional and social skills right at the beginning. From there, learning can truly blossom as my students and I participate in seminar discussion, group projects, as well as individual goal setting and reflection.
