Ana Colwell

I immigrated to the United States 13+ years ago, and education has empowered my career and personal path. I advocate for equitable opportunities and urge parental involvement in education. As the Founder and Head of School at La Creare Schools since August 2021, I aim to enhance early childhood education and address critical learning challenges. Previously, I taught Kindergarten and preschool students in Spanish Immersion Programs. I led initiatives at an educational technology company, developing educational software and curricula. With a background in psychology and holding multiple certifications, I prioritize community engagement and the holistic development of twenty-first-century skills in children during their early years.
