This study guide is specifically designed for parents and teaches skills, vocabulary, and strategies they need to know to help their child with place value, rounding, and ordering numbers. Skills covered:
- reading, writing, and identifying numbers in standard, written, and expanded form
- ordering numbers from greatest to least and least to greatest
- rounding whole numbers and decimals
Two versions of the Place Value & Rounding Parent Study Guide are included. The first version teaches the millions place through the thousandths place. The second version teaches the hundred millions place through the thousandths place.
Send this study guide home at the beginning of your place value and rounding unit. It will assist parents as they help their child with homework and help them study for a test.
