Description
This biographical drama/comedy film is about a janitor, Richard MontaƱez, who develops a new and successful spicy chip at Frito-Lay. As Richard was growing up, he lost his way a little and got into the life of gangs and drugs. When he found out that his girlfriend, Judy, was pregnant, they both changed their ways and got out of the lifestyle that they were living. Richard had difficulty finding work, but eventually landed a job as a janitor at a Frito-Lay factory. He worked there many years and tried to learn as much as he could, especially about the machines and processes of making chips. As more and more layoffs began to happen, Richard came up with an idea to make a chip that was spicy to help save the factory that he was working at. Because none of his supervisors or coworkers took him seriously, he took his idea and chips straight to the CEO. His spicy chips quickly became a success and revolutionized the snack industry.
