Description

Teach students about the importance of being on time. Being on time and prompt is such a critical life skill for success in class, work, and just life in general!! Read and analyze text, and apply time and math skills, in order to determine whether someone is on time or late in specific situations. This unit is designed specifically for a self-contained middle school or high school special education classroom, to teach, practice, and assess. These printable PDFs, Google Doc, and Google Form are versatile: good to use for teaching live virtually or in person, for whole group, small group, or independent work.

WHAT'S INCLUDED:

UNIT PACKET Printable + Google Docs

· Learn about vocabulary words (on time, early, late) and the importance of being on time by reading and answering comprehension questions

· 30+ practice problems are included: determine times before and after a given time by 1-minute or 5-minute increments; determine whether someone is early or late by comparing times; read and analyze scenarios to determine if someone is on time or not, and if late, brainstorm what should be done differently
